Open to musicians aged nine and above, the academy hosts lessons with renowned pedagogues for violin, cello, and piano
Founded in 2010, the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein is one of Europe’s leading music education programs for emerging artists. Classes for violin, cello, and piano will be held from September 2024 to May 2025.
Now open for registration, the program will offer individual lessons, chamber music coaching — plus classes on competition and audition preparation. Each applicant can register for several intensive weeks per year.
The violin faculty will include Latica Honda-Rosenberg, Ana Chumachenco, Ingolf Turban, and Tobias Feldmann. Professors for cello include Ivan Monighetti, Thomas Grossenbacher, Jens Peter Maintz, and VC Artist Kian Soltani.
The academy’s piano teachers include Milana Chernyavska, Pavel Gililov, Claudio Martinez Mehner, and Ruben Dalibaltayan. An additional viola masterclass will be given by Thomas Riebl.

In addition to the intensive coaching and ensemble training, the academy will also host a symposium from November 2–5, 2024. Aimed at preparing students for the challenges of everyday life as a musician, the event offers advice from selected experts.
In September 2024, the academy will start the new school year at its new campus, the historical Hagenhaus, which is currently being restored and renovated. Apart from the new accommodations, there will be also a concert hall with new pianos and lots more to explore/experience. A spokesperson from the academy called it, “the start of a new era for the academy”.
