Australian Chamber Orchestra — Ripieno Violin

Applications are now invited for the full-time salaried position of ripieno violin, which involves a total package of $155,801 AUD.

Led by violinist Richard Togentti, the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) has an annual season of over eighty national performances as well as a regular overseas touring schedule throughout Europe, North America, and Asia.

The ensemble has performed at London’s Southbank Centre and Barbican Centre, Vienna’s Musikverein and Konzerthaus, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, New York’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, plus at the Edinburgh, Hong Kong, and Tanglewood Festivals. 

Recent tours have included collaborations with artists including Emmanuel Pahud, Branford Marsalis, Nicole Car, and Paul Lewis. Additionally, the ACO has a regular recording program including its most recent releases on ABC Classics.
