VC ‘Artist’ Benjamin Beilman To Join Warner Classics Recording Roster
Warner Classics has today announced the addition of 26 year old, American VC ‘Artist’ Benjamin Beilman to their recording roster.
‘We are delighted to welcome Benjamin to Warner Classics,” Executive Vice President, Jean-Philippe Rolland has said, “ ... he is the embodiment of excellence in the American school of violin playing … he continues this tradition as the leading violinist of his generation, with a thoughtful, intelligent and inspired approach entirely his own.”
A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Benjamin is a former 1st prize winner at the Montreal International Violin Competition - and recipient of prestigious Avery Fischer and Borletti-Buitoni Trust Career grants.
His debut Warner album, ‘Spectrum’, scheduled for release in March with pianist Yekwon Sunwoo, will include duo works by Schubert, Janacek, Stravinsky and Kreisler.
