Berliner Philharmoniker Presents Free Online Concert This Weekend
Audiences can watch conductor Ton Koopman lead a 2010 program of Bach and Haydn on the orchestra's Digital Concert Hall
In 2010, conductor Ton Koopman — one of the great interpreters of Early Music — lead the Berliner Philharmoniker in a program highlighting the genius of J.S. Bach. He is joined by the choir, RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, and chorus master Hans-Christoph Rademann.
Audiences can tune in this weekend to the orchestra's Digital Concert Hall to watch the archival footage of the concert, for free, here.

On the Digital Concert Hall, audiences can now watch the Berliner Philharmoniker — and many of the world's greatest conductors and soloists — anytime, anywhere on their TV, tablet, smartphone, or computer.
The Digital Concert Hall also holds a unique media library with more than 700 concerts from six decades, plus interviews, films, playlists, and more. Featured artists include chief conductor Kirill Petrenko and star guests such as Christian Thielemann, Martha Argerich, Jonas Kaufmann, Lisa Batiashvili, and Simon Rattle.
Until December 25, fans who subscribe to a 12-month Digital Concert Hall pass will receive an exclusive DVD/Blu-ray edition of the Berliner Philharmoniker's homage to Igor Stravinsky — whose 50th anniversary of his death and 140th anniversary of his birth was celebrated by the orchestra in the 2021/22 season.
