Russian conductor Alexander Sotnikov has passed away - aged 72

Russian conductor Alexander Sotnikov has passed away - aged 72.

He served as Principal Conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra from 1995 until 2002.

Our condolences are with Maestro Sotnikov's family, friends and colleagues.
