Prodigious Japanese Teen Sweeps Major Prize at Kloster Schontal

13 year old Rennosuke Fukuda, from Japan, has been awarded 1st Prize in the Junior Division, and the prestigious Reinhold Wurth Scholarship for the ‘Most Promising Talent’, at the 2013 Kloster Schontal International Violin Competition, in Kunzelsau, Germany

Rennosuke will receive 6,800 EUR - to be assigned for further education

2nd & 3rd Prizes in the Junior Division were awarded to Jaewon Wee from Korea and Ziyu He from China

1st, 2nd & 3rd Prizes in the Intermediate Division were awarded to Yi Yang Jiang from China, Naina Kobzareva from Russia and Hui Hua from China

1st, 2nd & 3rd Prizes in the Senior Division were awarded to Elena Tarosyan from Russia, Olga Sroubkova from the Czech Repulic and Reina Shibutani from Japan
