British cellist and conductor Adrian Shepherd has passed away – aged 74

A student of William Pleeth, Maestro Shepherd served as Principal Cellist with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra for more than 20 years – and was the founder and Director of the modern-instrument ensemble Cantilena
