The famed Abbey Road Studios, in London, wrote on social media, "Perry graced us with his work countless times, going all the way back to ‘Highlander’ in 1986 and up until recently on scores for the likes of ‘The French Dispatch’, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ and ‘Kung Fu Panda 4.’"
Before retiring, his final session was on Gladiator II.
"On his last day, Hans Zimmer had arrived to hear the final cue from the film when it was revealed that one of Perry’s first sessions with the London Studio Orchestra was the original ‘Gladiator’ 25 years previously," the studio added.
Our condolences to Mr. Montague-Mason's family, friends, and colleagues.
