18-year-old British cellist Maxim Calver's 1st prize-winning performance in the string category final of the 2018 BBC 'Young Musician of the Year' Competition.

Maxim will now join the other 2018 instrumental category winners in the semifinal stage of the competition – to be held on the 11th of May at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
