The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra has announced the appointment of New Zealand-born cellist Richard Belcher to its ensemble
The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra in Minnesota, United States, has this week announced the appointment of New Zealand-born cellist Richard Belcher to its ensemble.
A graduate of Yale University, where he studied with Aldo Parisot, Richard is a founding member of the Enso String Quartet - and previously served as Principal Cellist with the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra.
“He’s a beautiful cellist and musician, and we feel very fortunate that he has chosen to join the SPCO ...." ensemble Principal Cellist Julie Albers has this week said.
"He has a rich and varied musical background including tons of chamber music - which is a true asset for our group,” she has said.
