Chinese-born American cellist Timothy Landauer has passed away following a lengthy battle with cancer - aged 56

Chinese-born American cellist Timothy Landauer has passed away following a lengthy battle with cancer - aged 56.

A graduate of the Shanghai Conservatory and the University of Southern California, Timothy was a former recipient of the Concert Artists Guild International Award.

He held a teaching position on faculty at the University of Southern California - and served as long time Principal Cellist with the Pacific Symphony, in Orange County, California, United States.

Our condolences are with Timothy's family, friends, colleagues and students.
