Concours Musical International de Montréal’s 2025 Voice Jury Members
The competition has announced its international eight-member jury for the voice edition
Established in 2001, the Concours Musical International de Montréal (CMIM) is open to competitors in the categories of voice, violin, and piano, which rotate over a three-year cycle.
CMIM’s 2025 edition for voice will be held from May 25 through June 6, 2025, and is open to classical singers of all nationalities, born between 1992 and 2005 inclusive, starting their professional careers.
Chaired by the Canadian soprano Adrianne Pieczonka, the international jury for Voice 2025 will comprise Harolyn Blackwell, Iain Burnside, Etienne Dupuis, Anthony Freud, Susan Graham, Roberto Mauro, and Christina Scheppelmann.
The competitors will have the opportunity to perform with CMIM’s official orchestra, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM), at Maison symphonique de Montréal for the semifinal on June 3 and 4, 2025, and for the final on June 6, 2025.
More than $150,000 CAD of prizes and grants will be awarded at the competition, including an over $70,000 first prize, a second prize of $25,000, and a third prize with $20,000, as well as several special prizes.
