The Iceland Symphony has announced the appointment of 37-year-old Finnish conductor Eva Ollikainen as its new Chief Conductor
The Iceland Symphony Orchestra, in Reykjavik, Iceland has this week announced the appointment of 37-year-old Finnish conductor Eva Ollikainen as its new Chief Conductor – effective from the commencement of the 2020/2021 season.
A graduate of the Sibelius Academy, where she studied with Jorma Panula and Leif Segerstam, Eva currently serves as Chief Conductor of the Nordic Chamber Orchestra.
