Croatian National Opera Announces New Music and Artistic Director

The Croatian National Theatre has announced the appointment of Finnish conductor Kalle Kuusava as its new Operatic Music and Artistic Director

The Croatian National Theatre in Rijeka, Croatia has this week announced the appointment of Finnish conductor Kalle Kuusava as its new Operatic Music and Artistic Director.

A graduate of the Sibelius Academy and the Norwegian Academy of Music, the 36-year-old is a former prize winner at the European and Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competitions.

Kalle has recently led performances with the Finnish National Opera, Finnish National Ballet, Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and the National Philharmonic of Russia.
