Lina González-Granados will receive worldwide general management from Opus 3 Artists' Julijana Mijalković and Jenny Vogel.
The recipient of the 2021 Sphinx Medal of Excellence, González-Granados also won the Third Prize and the ECHO Special Award (European Concert Hall Organization) at the La Maestra Competition. She is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Solti Foundation US Career Assistance Award.
Between February 2020 and June 2023, González-Granados served as the Solti Conducting Apprentice at the Chicago Symphony, during which time she was assistant to Riccardo Muti. Soon afterward, she was appointed Resident Conductor by the LA Opera for a two-season term.
She has also previously held positions as the Inaugural Conducting Fellow of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Conducting Fellow of the Seattle Symphony.
Other conductors on Opus 3's roster include Marin Alsop, James Conlon, and David Robertson.
"I am honored and delighted to become part of the Opus 3 family," said González-Granados. "This represents the start of a new chapter in my professional life."
"Jenny, Julijana, and the whole Opus 3 team have shown how caring and dedicated they are to ensuring my continued and growing success in this field," she continued. "With their backing and support, I feel my present and future is looking very bright."
"From the first time I saw Lina on the podium, I felt an instant connection to her artistry and musicianship," Mijalković said. "I am very excited to be working alongside Lina in this new phase of her career."
