Today is British conductor Sir Simon Rattle’s 63rd birthday.
Maestro Rattle is widely regarded as one of the finest conductors of the 20th and 21st Centuries.
He currently serves as Principal Conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic and Music Director of the London Symphony Orchestra.
