"What’s the role of production in classical music? Stagecraft, lighting and ambient information can greatly enhance the classical music experience ... where the audience sits or stands in relation to the performers, how the space is lit, as well as where and how program information is presented or projected all have an impact on how we experience a performance," he has said.
