Dallas Symphony Orchestra — Assistant Concertmaster

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is currently seeking an assistant concertmaster (fifth chair) in the first violin section. 

The preliminaries and semifinals will be held on both March 11 and 25, 2024, with the finals to take place on April 1, 2024.

Formed in 1900 as a 40-member ensemble, the DSO has since expanded in size and been led by music directors including Antal Doráti, Walter Hendl, Sir Georg Solti, Anshel Brusilow, Max Rudolf, Eduardo Mata, Andrew Litton, and Jaap van Zweden; Fabio Luisi inaugurated his tenure in September 2020.
