25 year old Boston University music student Zachery Camhi, missing in New York City since September 18th, has today been located.
It is understood Zachery, who suffers from bipolar disorder, has been in the care of medical staff at New York’s Bellevue Hospital since September 20th.
“We are very relieved and happy he is safe – and we also really appreciate all the help we have received in the search … ” Search coordinator Mariana Ramirez has told The Violin Channel.
Concerned family and friends raised the alert last week after Zachery, who is currently completing graduate studies with Boston Symphony Principal Bassist Edwin Barker, left his hotel at approximately 5am on September 18th without his wallet, phone or medication, and had not been in contact since.
“The family does not wish to make any further comment at this stage,” Mariana has said.
