Open to violinists born on or after January 1st, 1995, the 1st prize winner will receive US $18,780. Presented by the Sendai International Music Competition Organizing Committee, City of Sendai, and Sendai Cultural Foundation, previous 1st prize winners include Svetlin Roussev, Alena Baeva, Clara Jumi Kang and VC Artists Richard Lin and Yoojin Jang.
