Acclaimed French conductor Jean Périsson has passed away - aged 94

Acclaimed French conductor Jean Périsson has passed away - aged 94.

Maestro Périsson served as Artistic Director of the Paris Opera from 1965 to 1970 - and held principal conducting positions with the Strasbourg Philharmonic and the Paris-based early music ensemble, Ensemble Clément Janequin.

Our condolences are with his family, friends and colleagues.
