French conductor Louis Fremaux has passed away - aged 95

French conductor Louis Fremaux has passed away - aged 95.

A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire, where he studied with Louis Fourestier and Jacques Chailley, throughout his career Maestro Fremaux served Principal Conducting Positions with the Opera de Monte-Carlo, Orchestre National de Lyon, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Our condolences are with his family, friends, colleagues and students.
