SAD NEWS | Artemis Quartet Violist Friedemann Weigle Has Died – Aged 53

German violist Friedemann Weigle has passed away after a long illness – aged just 53.

Mr Weigle held a Professorship at the Hanns Eisler School of Music, in Berlin and served as a long term member of the Petersen and Artemis String Quartets.
