German violinist Hellmut Stern has passed away - aged 91
German violinist Hellmut Stern has passed away - aged 91.
A former recipient of an Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr Stern served as Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra for 34 years.
