Britain’s Brodsky String Quartet Announces New Violinist
The Brodsky Quartet has announced the appointment of violinist Gina McCormack to the ensemble
The British-based Brodsky String Quartet has today announced the appointment of violinist Gina McCormack to the ensemble - effective from May 2019.
A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music, where she studied with György Pauk, Gina has performed for more than 15 years as the 1st violinist with Sorrel and Maggini String Quartets.
"We consider ourselves truly blessed to have encountered someone with such experience and commitment to the cause as Gina McCormack …” Brodsky Quartet violist Paul Cassidy has said.
“We could not have dreamed of a more perfect partner to accompany us on our continued journey as a quartet,” he has said.
Gina will replace violinist Daniel Rowland - who will step down from the quartet, after 12 seasons, to focus more on solo opportunities.
