7 Finalists Announced at Inaugural Boris Goldstein International Violin Competition
The 7 Finalists for the 2015 Boris Goldstein International Violin Competition, in Bern, Switzerland, have just minutes ago been announced – with 6 of the 7 candidates from the teaching studio of competition Founder and Jury President, Zakhar Bron.
The 2015 Finalists are:
Benjamin Baker (24, New Zealand/United Kingdom)
Mone Hattori (15, Japan)
Furong Li (24, China)
Arsenis Selalmazidis (24, Greece/Russia)
Aleksey Semenenko (26, Ukraine)
Stefan Tarara (28, Germany)
Shiori Terauchi (24, Japan)
The Final round of the inaugural competition will be held on the 31st January, 2015 – with the 1st prize winner to receive CHF 15,000 (USD $16,000).
This competition jury includes: Zakhar Bron (Jury President), Yair Kless, Bartek Niziol, Igor Ozim, Viktor Pikayzen, Maurizio Sciarretta, Michael Stricharz, Akiko Tatsumi and Eva Zubrugg.
