Harpist Anneleen Lenaerts Signs with Askonas Holt
Lenaerts, who has been Principal Harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic since 2010, becomes the only harpist on the agency's roster
The Belgian harpist Anneleen Lenaerts has joined the roster of Askonas Holt for worldwide general management. The only harpist on the company's roster, she will be managed by Kate Sweeney and Melanie Moult.
Lenaerts has been Principal Harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic since 2010, and as a soloist has performed with a number of leading orchestras — including the Symphonieorchester des Bayerische Rundfunk, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, Bruckner Orchestra Linz, the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra, the Polish National Radio Orchestra, the Brussels Philharmonic, and the National Orchestra of Belgium, amongst others.
In addition, she has performed recitals in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, Berliner Philharmonie, Salle Gaveau, Großes Festspielhaus, and Bozar, and at festivals such as Rheingau Musik Festival, Dresden Musikfestspiele, Lockenhaus festival, Moritzburg Festival, and Aspen Music Festival.
Lenaerts is an exclusive recording artist with Warner Classics, and she received an Opus Klassik Award for her 2019 release of Nino Rota’s works for the harp with Emmanuel Pahud and the Brussels Philharmonic.
In the 2023/24 season, she made debuts with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz (Venzago), and Philharmonie Zuidnederland (Ward).
