HarrisonParrott Acquires Solea Management Agency
HarrisonParrot will continue its international expansion, and will represent artists such as violinist Liya Petrova and pianist Beatrice Rana
Solea Management, a boutique international artist management company based in France, has been acquired by the HarrisonParrott Group to strengthen its Paris branch.
Solea’s founder Romain Blondel and his team will relocate to join the HarrisonParrott Paris-based office. Blondel established Solea Management in 2005 to represent a select international roster of acclaimed artists.
Along with the acquisition comes artists such as Jonathan Fournel, Lucie Horsch, Simone Lamsma, Olivier Latry, Eric Lu, Liya Petrova, Beatrice Rana, Lucienne Renaudin Vary, and Justin Taylor — all for general management.
“I am thrilled about this exciting new chapter for HarrisonParrott Paris, our team working together with Romain Blondel and his team,” said HarrisonParrott Paris’s Senior Director, General Manager, François Guyard in the press release.
“I have huge respect for Romain and what he has achieved as founder and head of Solea Management, and I am excited to have him and his artists join the HarrisonParrott Group and position HarrisonParrott Paris as a leading international management company working in France today,” Guyard continued. “Since its creation in 2018, HP Paris has continued to strengthen its presence, managing the careers of top world-renowned conductors and soloists from Paris, one of the world’s greatest cultural capitals. Welcome to all of the artists and staff members joining us.”
“When I founded Solea Management 20 years ago, I was a rookie in the industry, with no inkling of the extraordinary journey that lay ahead,” added Blondel, who will direct HarrisonParrott Paris. “With a dedicated team, we achieved remarkable success by elevating exceptional artists to international prominence. I’m stepping into an exhilarating new phase of my career, and I couldn’t be more excited to join the ranks of the HP Group — a company I’ve long admired for its groundbreaking philosophy and unparalleled inventiveness.
“Joining forces again with my esteemed friend François Guyard to spearhead the continued development of the HP Paris office is a monumental opportunity," he added. “I’m eager to bring my experience and enthusiasm to this new role and contribute to HPG’s continued success.”
“A hugely exciting new chapter for our teams and artists and a great achievement since our humble beginnings in 2018,” noted Moema Parrott, CEO of HarrisonParrott Group and Associated Companies and President of HarrisonParrott Paris. “Congratulations to the whole HP Paris team for its talent and grit in the challenging last years and for developing the French office so successfully. We are happy to welcome Romain and the Solea team and artists as the perfect partners to further cement the hard work and vision for HP Paris.”
