IMG Artists Appoints New International Touring Staff
Vanessa Tsoi and Claudia Stott have both left Intermusica to join the agency
Two senior arts administrators specializing in international orchestral touring have left the Intermusica agency in favor of new positions at IMG Artists. They are Vanessa Tsoi, IMG's new Vice President of International Orchestral Touring, and Claudia Stott, Senior Manager of International Orchestral Touring — and they will work under Peter Ansell, who heads the department.
Tsoi was previously Associate Director of International Touring at Intermusica, and she has a range of international experience across the sector, having previously held roles at the Southbank Centre, KD Schmid, Hong Kong Arts Festival, and Hong Kong Sinfonietta.
She studied music at the University of Hong Kong before receiving a master's degree in arts administration and cultural policy from Goldsmiths University of London.
Stott has held several jobs in different areas of Artist Management, Projects, and International Touring at agencies in London and Paris. At Intermusica, she was a part of the International Touring department for three years.
She studied Drama and Theater Arts at the University of Birmingham and has also previously worked in television.
"I am thrilled Vanessa and Claudia have joined IMGA’s International Orchestral Touring department," said Peter Ansell, Executive Vice President of IMG's international touring team. "After working closely with them both for the last few years, I can attest that IMGA will benefit immensely from their high level of professionalism and extensive experience in orchestral touring, both in Europe and particularly across the entire Asian market."
"We are incredibly fortunate to be both working with Vanessa and welcoming Claudia back to the company," said John Evans, IMG Artists’ Chief Operating Officer. "They are both incredibly impressive and accomplished and have earned great respect within our industry. We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to its growth and success."
