The Indianapolis Symphony has announced the contract extension of Music Director Krzystof Urbanski – through to the end of the 2019-2020 season

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra has this week announced the contract extension of Polish-born Music Director Krzystof Urbanski – through to the end of the 2019-2020 season.

The 35-year-old has led the ensemble since 2011.

“The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is proud to have an updated contract with Maestro Urbanski ... securing his artistic leadership in our city well into the future,” Orchestra Director Kristin Cutler has told local media.
