Invoke Ensemble Signs with Jensen Artists
The American string ensemble with receive both management and PR from the New York-based firm
Invoke, a string ensemble whose work encompasses styles as diverse as bluegrass, Appalachian fiddle tunes, jazz, and minimalism, has joined the roster of Jensen Artists for management and PR.
Described by former SiriusXM Classical Producer David Srebnik as "not classical but not, not classical", Invoke's instrumentation is comprised of violin, viola, and cello, as well as mandolin, banjo, and vocals. The group comoprises Karl Mitze, Geoff Manyin, Zach Matteson, and Nick Montopoli.
The group has been the Young Professional String Quartet in Residence at the University of Texas at Austin, as well as participating in the Emerging String Quartet Program at Stanford. They are also the winners of the Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition, the M-Prize International Chamber Arts competition, and the Coltman Competition.
