Oscar Award-winning Italian film composer and conductor Ennio Morricone has passed way in Rome - aged 91

Oscar Award-winning Italian film composer and conductor Ennio Morricone has passed way in Rome - aged 91.

During his career, Mr Morricone composed more than 600 original compositions - including the film scores to 'Once Upon A Time in The West', 'Cinema Paradiso' - and 'The Good, The Bad And The Ugly'.

In 2007 he was honored with the 'Lifetime Achievement' Oscar - for his substantial contribution to the film industry.

Our condolences are with Mr Morricone’s family, friends and colleagues.
