Italy’s Andrea Postacchini Violin Competition Names 2025 Winners
The 11-year-old violinist Eloisa-Marie Aubert was chosen as the competition's overall winner
Launched in 1994, the annual International Violin Competition “Andrea Postacchini” is open to violinists of all nationalities, and is held in four categories for those born between 1993 and 2017.
This year’s overall winner is violinist Eloisa-Marie Aubert (Luxembourg/France), who will receive a diploma, a violin by Giacomo NIBID from Montorio al Vomano, and a violin bow crafted by Walter Barbiero from Piombino Dese.
The 2025 winners are as follows:
Category A (born between 2014-2017)

- 3rd (€1,100): Roa Lee | South Korea
- Student’s Grant (€1,000): Noah Lee | South Korea
Category C (born between 2004-2008)
- 1st (€2,200): Rokas Dirzys | Lithuania
- 2nd (€1,400): Francis Pope | Italy
- 3rd (€1,300): Soffia Plakhtsinska | Ukraine
- Student’s Grant (€1,200): Vivek Dinesh Ramanan | India-Great Britain
Category D (born between 1993-2003)
- 1st (€2,600): Mazzon Ulisse | Italy
- 2nd (€2,000): Ugné Liepa Zuklité | Lithuania
- 3rd (€1,500): Yujin Hong | South Korea
The competition’s special prizes for best interpretations of works were awarded to Hao Li from China, and Lucilla Rose Mariotti of Italy. The City of Ansbach award to the top-ranked German competitor went to Avalon Stottrop and the Honor Committee Award went to Emma Guerreiro of France.
This year’s winners will also receive concert opportunities in the upcoming season, including with the Virtuosi Italiani and the Sinfonietta Gigli Chamber Orchestra.
More engagements include those organized by Fondazione Gioventù Musicale d’Italia, Appassionata Associazione Musicale, Gli AMICI della MUSICA, and the “Giuseppe Cerquetelli” Cultural Musical Association.
The 2025 international jury comprised Peter Manning, Yibin Li, Alessandro Milani, Andrii Murza, Vladimir Nemtanu, Daniele Orlando, and Sungwon Yun.
