Italy’s MondoMusica Cremona Opens 2024 Exhibition
The international exhibition for handcrafted string instruments will be held from September 27–29, 2024
Founded in 2002, MondoMusica Cremona is hosted annually by Cremona Musica International Exhibitions, bringing together top string instrument makers, suppliers, and publishers to connect international buyers and musicians.
Held this year from September 27–29 in Cremona, Italy, the fair will present violins, violas, cellos, and double basses from countless makers. Cremona is famed for its luthiers, particularly during the late Renaissance and Baroque periods, which saw famed makers such as Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarneri establish the city as a focal point in violin craftsmanship.
Founded to celebrate and promote this heritage, MondoMusica has since become a wide-reaching and global event — hosted in collaboration with CremonaFiere and the Italian Trade Agency.
MondoMusica will feature lectures and presentations from luthiers and industry experts, as well as workshops, masterclasses, and networking opportunities. Participants will have access to accessories, sheet music, as well as antique instruments, restorers, instrument cases and music stands, instrument dealers and retailers, publishers, associations and consortia, instrument-making schools, musical institutions, and business development organizations.
Cremona Musica International Exhibitions also holds events for wind instruments, guitar, accordion, and piano, and offers opportunities to exhibit products.
