American cellist and orchestral manager James Holesovsky has passed away – aged 72.

A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with Orlando Cole, Mr Holesovsky served a long term teaching position on faculty at the University of Delaware - and performed as a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia for more than 50 years.

Our condolences are with his family, friends, colleagues and students.
