Japan's Sendai International Music Competition Announces Piano Semi-Finalists

Twelve pianists will perform Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra from June 20 - 22, 2025

The Piano Edition of the 9th Sendai International Music Competition is currently underway.  Twelve pianists have been selected to compete in the semi-final round:

• Julian Gast

The contestants will perform Mozart Concertos with the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra and Ken Takaseki.

The jury includes Ichiro Nodaira (chairperson), Akiko Ebi, Jacques Rouvier (vice-chairpersons), Josep Colom, Thai Son Dang, Kevin Kenner, Vadym Kholodenko, Daejin Kim, Matthias Kirschnereit, Shigeo Neriki, Rena Shereshevskaya.
