VC Artist Jennifer Pike Awarded Royal Honor

British VC Artist, violinist Jennifer Pike has this week been awarded an MBE for her contributions to classical music.
The "Member of the Order of the British Empire" is given by the Queen and bestowed on those who make a positive impact with their work.
A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama & the University of Oxford, the 30-year-old violinist is a former winner of the BBC "Young Musician of the Year" Award and a prize winner at the Menuhin Competition.
She also collaborates regularly with charities around the United Kingdom including London Music Masters, City Music Foundation, The Wellspring, The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts, and The Prince’s Trust.
"I am very honored and in these hard times I will continue to strive to save the arts in the UK as the healing power of music is needed now more than ever," Jennifer said.
