Joint 2023 Concert Artists Guild–YCAT Artists Announced
Violinists Hana Chang and Njioma Chinyere Grevious will join the rosters of both CAG and the Young Classical Artists Trust for international management
Created in 2019, the partnership between the New York-based Concert Artists Guild’s (CAG) and London’s Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) expands performance opportunities for young musicians — enabling their connections with cultural markets on both sides of the Atlantic and maximizing international recognition.
As joint 2023 CAG-YCAT artists, violinists Hana Chang and Njioma Chinyere Grevious will receive international management in the Americas and Europe from both organizations.
Grievous was also recently announced as one of four other winners of CAG’s 2023 Elmaleh Competition, which supports musicians beginning professional music careers. Chang joins her as a fellow Grand Prize winner of the shared CAG-YCAT management.
Both artists will enjoy performance opportunities at Wigmore Hall and New York’s Merkin Hall, and participation in CAG’s Citizen Musician Bootcamp.
They will also benefit from an artist management team, further concert engagements, debuts at prestigious international venues, professional publicity materials, marketing and digital support.
“We are so excited about welcoming Nijioma to the YCAT family and looking forward to introducing her to audiences both in the UK and across Europe over the coming few years,” said YCAT’s CEO and artistic director, Alasdair Tait.
“We are so excited to have Hana join the CAG-YCAT family,” added Tanya Bannister, CAG’s president. “This collaboration is critically important to give international exposure and real dynamic mentorship to musicians on both sides of the Atlantic. We cannot wait to work with and share Hana’s talent in the Americas.”
