London's St Martin in the Fields Extends Music Director Joshua Bell’s Contract

The Academy of St Martin in the Fields has today announced the contract extension of Music Director Joshua Bell

The Academy of St Martin in the Fields has today announced the contract extension of Music Director Joshua Bell - until the end of the 2019/2020 season.

The 49 year old violin virtuoso has served the leadership role since 2011 - since taking over from the ensemble’s founder, Sir Neville Marriner.

"The Academy is an incredible group of musicians, and they are like family to me … our tours together are always highlights of my year," Joshua has said.

“I’m thrilled that we’ll be continuing our relationship for another three seasons … here’s to the next chapter in our adventure together," he has said.
