LA Chamber Orchestra Will Reopen Disney Hall to Live Audiences
Music Director Jaime Martin will lead the orchestra in an invite-only performance on June 26
The orchestra is presenting the concert as a way to thank their donors, subscribers, and community members for their support over the course of the pandemic.
Alongside the invited audience members, there are also tickets for 200 members of the public. These are limited to those who are fully vaccinated. All audience members will be required to show their CDC vaccination card, along with their personal ID.
The program comprises Ginastera's Variaciones concertantes, Juan Pablo Contreras' Mariachitlán, and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 4 in A major, “Italian.”
Founded in 1968, the LA Chamber Orchestra is committed to historical masterworks and new music alike. During the pandemic, they presented a number of online events, and are now making their return to in-person concerts.
