Larsen Strings North America is Launched

The Danish strings company has introduced its new division and exclusive source for premium violin, viola and cello strings in the U.S.

At the recent 2024 Violin Society of America (VSA) conference, Larsen Strings launched its new Larsen Strings North America, aimed at helping artists of all levels across the U.S. realize the potential of their artistry and instruments through high quality strings. 

The launch is also a milestone in Larsen String’s collaboration with Glasser NY, a bow-making and string accessories pioneer known for its innovation and dedication to quality since its inception in 1938. 

For over 25 years, Glasser NY has been the exclusive U.S. distributor of Larsen Strings, which was founded in 1990 in Sønderborg, Denmark. 

In addition to strengthening the partnership between Danish and American companies, Larsen Strings North America will serve as the exclusive source for Larsen’s renowned orchestral strings in the U.S.

The unveiling of the new division at the VSA was positively received by the music community as it aims to continue supporting artists with strings that will benefit utmost musical expression and artistic nuance.
