The fifth installment of the ongoing viola project features Lawrence Power performing "Matchless Space" by Martyn Brabbins

"I was inspired to write “Matchless Space” by the truly matchless viola playing of Lawrence Power, with whom I have enjoyed a long and fruitful musical friendship," Brabbins said.

"Frank Matcham’s masterpiece, the London Coliseum, is without a doubt a matchless theatrical jewel. The music was conceived in such a way that the glorious sound and creative musicianship of Lawrence would fill the quiet empty space of the theatre, bring the air to life, as it resounded once again to the sound of music."
