London Classic Violin Competition Announces Participants

As part of the Classic Violin Olympus International Competition, 20 violinists have been selected to compete at the Royal College of Music from August 26-30, 2024

The preselection process for the Classic Violin Olympus International Competition continues to press on, with further updates being released regularly.

The competition's organizers have confirmed the contestants that will be going head-to-head at the London Classic Violin Competition, which will be taking place at the Royal College of Music from August 26-30, 2024.

This contest will be the fourth in the preselection series, and the below violinists will play in front of a 5-person jury board composed of various globally acclaimed artists.

The participants will be competing over several rounds for a €35,000 prize fund, as well as the chance to win entry to the invite-only Classic Violin Olympus, which will be held in Dubai, UAE, from April 22-28, 2025. The Classic Violin Olympus will feature €310,000 worth of monetary prizes as well as other awards and opportunities for all finalists.

Meanwhile, due to the unique nature of the Classic Violin Olympus preselection process, those candidates who were not selected for this competition are still able to apply for any of the four remaining contests in the series and be in with the chance of reaching the Grand Finale in Dubai in 2025.

The last preselection contest to be accepting applications is the Dubai Classic Violin Competition — until August 4.
