Luke Hsu Awarded 1st Prize at Korea's Isangyun International Violin Competition

American violinist Luke Hsu has been awarded 1st prize at the 2014 Isangyun International Violin Competition, in Tongyeong City, South Korea.
2nd prize was awarded to Minkyung Sul, from South Korea - and 3rd prize to Wonhee Bae, from South Korea.
A graduate of Shepherd School of Music, where he studied with Cho-Liang Lin, and current student of Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory, Luke is a former prize winner at the Irving Klein and Montreal International Violin Competitions.
He will receive KRW 30,000,000 (US $28,000).
