Luxembourg Philharmonic to Launch New Training Academy

The program is planned to begin in September 2021

The new program is providing “the best of orchestra academy experience to seven academics.” Members of the Luxembourg Philharmonic will be choosing four violinists, one violist, one cellist, and one percussionist.

The program lasts two years and offers performance and recording opportunities, tours as a member of the Luxembourg Philharmonic for 20 weeks per season, mentoring sessions with orchestra members, coaching sessions and workshops covering many faculties, chamber music projects, audition training and prep, housing in Luxembourg, health insurance, participation certificate, and free transportation in Luxembourg.

Those who are under the age of 27 years old on the day of the audition and hold a bachelor’s degree or are in their final year of a BA program are eligible to apply.
