Martha Argerich: The Warner Classics Edition Now Available

The release traces Martha Argerich's iconic career

Warner Classics and Erato have released Martha Argerich: The Warner Classics Edition. Pianist Martha Argerich has worked with the label since 1965, with her win at the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Over several decades, she has recorded repertoire that spans three centuries, featuring artists such as Charles Dutoit, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Gidon Kremer, Mischa Maisky, and Itzhak Perlman.

The new box set compiles 46 CDs with complete recordings for EMI Classics, Teldec, Erato, and Warner Classics, from 1965-2020.

Her musical collaborations are key to the second part of this collection, which includes the complete live recordings made at Switzerland’s Lugano Festival between 2002 and 2016 and released by EMI Classics and Warner Classics.
