Meet Salon de Virtuosi's 2022 Career Grant Winners at Gala Awards Concert

Charlotte White's Salon de Virtuosi, in New York City, recently announced the seven recipients of their 2022 Salon de Virtuosi Career Grants. The young artists were recognized for their talent and each will receive $5,000.
The artists will be featured in the upcoming 2022 Gala Awards Concert on October 19, 2022, at 7:30 pm ET.
The Grant Winners include:

Nikka Gershman-Pepper, flute
Derek Louie, cello
Daniel Rafimayeri, violin
Miray Ito, violin
Mariam and Amira Abouzahra, violin
Evren Ozel, piano
The 2022 Gala Awards Concert will be performed live at The Kaufman Center's Merkin Concert Hall in New York, New York. The program showcases works by Tchaikovsky, Kreissler, Chopin, Schumann, Popper, Boem and others.

Founded by concert pianist Charlotte White, a former student of the legendary Josef Lhevinne and Richard Singe, the Salon is now entering its 26th season. It is dedicated to the discovery and support of talented young musicians.
Previous grant recipients include violinists Philippe Quint and Karen Gomyo, pianists Joyce Yang, Drew Petersen, and Conrad Tao — plus VC Artists Yesong Sophie Lee, Zlatomir Fung, Minami Yoshida, Josef Spacek, Paul Huang, and the Aizuri Quartet. Additional winners include VC Young Artists Nathan Meltzer and Moné Hattori, plus VC Rising Stars Hina Khuong-Huu and Fiona Khuong-Huu.
