Russian violinist and pedagogue Maya Glezarova has passed away - aged 92

Russian violinist and pedagogue Maya Glezarova has passed away - aged 92.

A student and assistant of legendary Russian teacher Yuri Yankelevich, she served a long-term teaching position at the Moscow Conservatory.

Her famed students included Pavel Kogan, Vladimir Spivakov, Dmitry Sitkovetsky and Boris Brovtsyn.

Our condolences are with Ms Glezarova’s family, friends, colleagues and students.
