Musafia Violin Case to Raise Funds for Ukraine
Musafia, the Italian luxury violin case company owned by maker Dmitri Musafia, has donated a specially made violin case to be sold at auction — with all proceeds going towards helping the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
Musafia, who is based in Cremona, noted that all of his employees had donated two hours' worth of pay to help cover the costs associated with making the case. The case is a unique Ukraine edition, with its inside featuring the yellow and blue of the Ukrainian flag.
All funds from the sale of the case will go to the Kiwanis Club Cremona, which will then purchase the vital food and medicine to be sent to Ukraine. These supplies will then be taken by van to the Ukrainian border and passed on to the humanitarian agencies working in the area.
