Musicians Foundation Offers Disaster Aid Grants to Those Affected by LA Fires
Rapid grants of $250 are available to musicians who have lost work to help cover essential items
The not-for-profit organization Music Foundation is offering rapid grants of $250 for musicians affected by the recent fires in Los Angeles, with the payment being intended to cover essentials.
The grants have just three criteria. Applicants should live and work as a professional musician in the Los Angeles area; should have earned the majority of their income for five or more years as a performer, composer/arranger, and/or music educator; and should have been displaced, lost work, or lost property due to the January 2025 LA area fires.

The Foundation has also put together a list of other resources that may be of help to musicians in need, which you can view here.
For over a century, the Musicians Foundation has been providing financial grants to professional musicians that help pay essential bills, like medical and dental treatments, rents and mortgages, and utilities. The funds come from bequests, benefits, and other events, as well as generous individual and recurring donations.
